St. John Paul II once said, “Courage is doing the work of God.” Deacons have responded to that statement through programs designed for those with SSA. Deacons meet with individuals that battle with this wound and help them to rely on God for their strength to endure and fight off these tendencies. Deacons provide communal prayer, spiritual support, assistance, and fellowship to men and women over 18 years old that strive daily to live a chaste life and understand their identity in Jesus Christ. The group meets confidentially twice monthly under the direction of a deacon or priest.
