The Parish Security Committee, comprised of deacons who are law enforcement officers and a legal expert, was formed to assist parishes with security needs. The Committee has created tools for parishes to use in addressing their security plans. The tools include a policy, an infographic, and a security checklist for the parishes to assess their current security measures along with recommendations to update them, if needed. The committee members are available to do onsite evaluations of parish security, medical and safety plans, if requested.
