The Respect Life Ministries are coordinated through Catholic Charities. Deacons help in a variety of ways to protect, defend, and promote the dignity of human life. Through the Respect Life operations deacons promote and participate in the two 40 Days for Life campaigns in the spring and fall and are asked to participate in the Mass and the rally during the annual Celebrate Life march in January. The Deacon Committee also works in the parishes, schools and community presenting talks (in English and Spanish) on the topics of the dignity of life, marriage, gender ideology, conception, suffering, and religious liberty. Deacons also promote Prayer in the Square at their parishes which often includes praying a rosary and chaplet outside of the church or in a public setting. The Respect Life Radio shows and podcasts are led by deacons from the community. These broadcasts speak about the tough moral topics of our modern age.
